Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview

At Firearms Australia, we stand behind the quality of the products we list. Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we generally cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

2. Firearms & Ammunition

Due to strict Australian legal and safety regulations, the following rules apply to firearms and ammunition:

  • Ammunition & Powders: For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on ammunition, primers, or powders once they have left the Licensed Firearms Dealer (LFD).
  • Firearms: Returns on firearms are only accepted in the case of manufacturing defects or if the item does not match the description provided.
  • Permit to Acquire (PTA) Issues: If a firearm purchase is cancelled because the police rejected your PTA, a 15% restocking fee may apply to cover administrative and dealer handling costs.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software or digital manuals
  • Safety equipment that has been removed from its original sealed packaging

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected by our team (or the originating dealer), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company; it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at order@firearmsonline.shop.

6. Shipping & Transfers

  • Return Address: Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Contact us first for the correct return authorization and shipping address.
  • Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • High-Value Items: For items over $100, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
